Microsoft is gearing up to roll out its Qualcomm-powered Surface devices to businesses, starting September 10th. After their consumer debut in June as part of Microsoft’s Copilot Plus PC lineup and the company’s push for Windows on Arm, the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7th Edition are now ready for the corporate world.
For businesses, the specs of these devices mirror what was available to consumers. The Surface Pro 11 comes in two main flavors: the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus model with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, and the high-end OLED version featuring a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip, 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.

When it comes to the Surface Laptop 7th Edition, businesses have a choice between the Snapdragon X Plus or X Elite models for the 13.8-inch version. The larger 15-inch model, however, is available only with the X Elite. All models offer up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, making them a solid choice for various professional needs.

Adding to the excitement, Microsoft is also launching a 5G model of the Surface Pro 11 on September 26th. This will be accompanied by a 5G variant of the Surface Pro 10, which is powered by Intel’s Ultra Core processors. Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced the Intel-powered Surface Pro 10 and the Surface Laptop 6 exclusively for business customers.

Microsoft is also releasing a new Surface Keyboard on October 3rd. This full-size keyboard features the new Copilot key and an expanded set of keys that includes functions for call management, muting, and the Snip & Sketch tool. It’s a welcome addition for anyone looking to enhance their productivity in the office.
