An illustration of Microsoft Copilot+ PC. The image features a logo consisting of a colorful square with rounded corners, resembling an abstract butterfly or four overlapping windows. Above this logo, the text ‘Copilot’ is written in bold white letters followed by a plus sign and the letters ‘PC’ in a lighter font. Below the logo and text, there is a tagline that reads ‘The fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built,’ suggesting that the image is an advertisement for a high-performance Windows PC product named Copilot. The background of the image is a gradient of light to darker blue, giving it a clean and modern technological feel.

Microsoft is expanding the availability of its Copilot AI features to a wider range of laptops. Starting in November, select AMD and Intel-powered devices will receive these innovative capabilities.

Previously, Copilot AI features were primarily accessible on Qualcomm-based devices. With the addition of Intel Core Ultra 200V processors and AMD Strix Point platforms, Microsoft is making these powerful AI tools more widely available to consumers.

Key Copilot AI features include:

  • Auto Super Resolution: A DLSS-like technology that enhances gaming performance by upscaling content.
  • Image Cocreate: Advanced tools for image editing and creation.
  • Improved Windows Studio Effects: Enhanced video conferencing and streaming capabilities.
  • Accelerated app performance: Optimized performance for creative applications like DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Microsoft is also working to reintroduce its Recall AI feature, which was temporarily delayed due to security concerns. The company aims to release this feature to Windows Insider testers in October.
