If you remember our previous article on the teaser trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ you’ll remember that the movie is planned to hit theatres on May 6, 2022.

However, as part of Super Bowl week, Marvel today released the official trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ which promises to spike fans’ excitement in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film.

The official trailer highlights a clip in which Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) is shown handcuffed in front of what many believe to be members of the Illuminati, including Charles Xavier.

While the trailer does not reveal Patrick Stewart’s face, there is an audio clip in the trailer that appears to be Stewart’s voice saying, “We should tell him the truth,” as a shocked Doctor Strange looks.

Another scene in the trailer that has attracted fans’ excitement looks to be a battle between Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, who was first introduced in the MCU series WandaVision.

Meanwhile, check out the below theatrical poster released by Marvel.
