The countdown is on. Google is about to unveil its latest tech toys, and the world is watching. The annual “Made by Google” event is set to kick off today, August 13th, at 1 pm ET. This is where the magic happens – the stage for the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel Watch 3, the Pixel Buds Pro 2, and possibly a few other surprises.

Google Pixel 9 series

The Pixel 9 series is shaping up to be a blockbuster. We’re expecting a quartet of devices: the standard Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, the extra-large Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 9 Pro Fold. That’s right, four different phones, each promising to cater to a specific type of user.

The Pixel 9 is rumored to be a sleek, compact device with a focus on photography. The Pixel 9 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to pack a punch with a larger display, 16GB of RAM, and advanced camera features. Then there’s the Pixel 9 Pro XL, designed for those who crave a bigger screen without sacrificing performance. And finally, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold promises to be Google’s take on the foldable phone market, with a dual-screen experience.

Google Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Buds Pro 2, Android 15

Beyond smartphones, Google is also set to introduce the Pixel Watch 3. Leaks suggest a brighter display, thinner bezels, and improved battery life. If true, this could be a serious contender in the crowded smartwatch market.

Audiophiles will be keen on the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Expect enhanced sound quality, longer battery life, and possibly some fresh color options to spice things up.

The event is also expected to unveil Android 15. The Pixel 9 series will be the first to ship with the new operating system, but it will eventually roll out to older Pixel devices as well.

How to watch the “Made by Google” Pixel 9 event live

So, how can you catch all the action? Tune in to the “Made By Google” YouTube channel at 1 pm ET today.
