LinkedIn, the professional networking platform owned by Microsoft, is currently testing a new subscription service for small and medium-sized businesses. The new service, LinkedIn Premium Company Page, will offer AI-assisted content creation, tools to increase follower counts, and other features aimed at improving the visibility of businesses on the platform.

The new subscription service is part of LinkedIn’s efforts to diversify its revenue streams and make the platform more useful for businesses and professionals. While LinkedIn has been criticized in the past for being a hotbed of self-promotion and data collection, the company has been positioning itself as a safer and more reliable platform for professionals and prosumers.

The new Premium Company Page subscription is priced at $99 per month or $839.88 per year, according to a marketing consultant who discovered the new service. This is the latest in a series of premium offerings that LinkedIn has introduced for businesses, including Premium Career, Premium Business, Sales Navigator, Recruiter tiers, and LinkedIn Learning.

The new Premium Company Page subscription includes features such as the ability to review recent visitors to a company page, invite those visitors to follow the page, create call-to-action buttons, and display testimonials prominently at the top of the page. The service also includes AI-assisted content creation, building on LinkedIn’s partnership with OpenAI.

LinkedIn’s Premium services have been a significant source of revenue for the company, with premium user subscriptions growing 25% year-on-year to $1.7 billion in 2023. Overall, the company made $15 billion that year, with its recruiting business accounting for $7 billion of that.

The new Premium Company Page subscription is currently being tested with a small group of small and medium-sized businesses, and it is not yet clear when it will be rolled out more widely. However, the new service underscores LinkedIn’s commitment to providing businesses with the tools they need to succeed on the platform.
