Instagram has started to roll out a new feature Pin for posts which allows Instagram users may pin any of their posts to their profile, allowing them to showcase their most popular posts, new product launches, or whatever they want in the first place. For this time, users can only pin three posts at a time.

Pinning stuff isn’t a new idea. It’s a common function in other apps, such as Twitter and Facebook. The option to pin posts to your Instagram profile grid, on the other hand, will change how we use the platform.

Users may highlight important feed posts with grid pinning, whether it’s a brand partnership, product drop, popular Reel, or a welcome post that defines who you are and what you do.

How to Pin Instagram posts on top

You can easily pin a published post to the top of your profile after you have access to Instagram’s Grid Pinning feature. Simply click on the post you’d like to pin and tap the three small dots in the right-hand corner. You’ll see a menu appear with a list of actions but you need to click on the “Pin to your profile” option.

Once you did that, the post will appear at the very top of your profile grid and will have a small pin icon in the upper right corner. If you want to unpin a post, simply click on the post, tap the three small dots, and click “Unpin from your profile.”
