How to watch Super Bowl on TV

The 2024 Super Bowl will be televised nationally on CBS. If you have access to standard cable, you can tune into the game on CBS. Keep in mind that only CBS will be airing the official broadcast of the game.

When does Super Bowl 2024 kickoff?

The official Super Bowl 2024 kickoff time is 6:30 pm ET / 3:30 pm PT. Make sure to tune in early though – pregame programming typically begins several hours before the game actually starts. The championship teams often arrive at the stadium hours early too to get warmed up.

There will also likely be a scorching halftime performance to keep viewers occupied during game breaks. More on that below!

Who is performing the Super Bowl LIII halftime show?

This year’s Super Bowl halftime entertainment has officially been announced as musical superstar Usher. The multi-Grammy winning singer known for massive hits like “Yeah!” and “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” has never performed at a Super Bowl before so you won’t want to miss it.

The national anthem will also be performed by country legend Reba McEntire so be sure to tune in early for both star’s appearances.

Super Bowl ads and commercials

A huge part of the Super Bowl experience every year comes from brands rolling out mega-budget commercials and movie trailers to capture viewer’s attention. 2024 is lining up to have some major ads already confirmed:

  • Tom Brady teaming up with BetMGM
  • Ice Spice appearing in Sierra Mist’s first Super Bowl ad
  • NFL legends Dan Marino and Bruce Smith back together for M&Ms

And you can always expect some hilarious ads and lots of movies and new TV show trailers too. Don’t run to grab snacks or go to the bathroom – some of the best commercials air during the Super Bowl!

Throwing an at-home Super Bowl party

Given Las Vegas is hosting this year’s game, a casino or Las Vegas-themed party at home with friends is always a great way to celebrate the Super Bowl. Break out casino game chips and cards, serve cocktails in martini glasses, decorate with green felt tablecloths, and have Rat Pack tunes or Elvis hits playing in the background to bring Vegas home.

An at-home Super Bowl party also calls for easy-to-eat game day foods like wings, pizza, nachos, subs, and plenty of snacks on hand. Have guests put in squares on the game board for a chance to win prizes too!

Get ready to cheer on your favorite team when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers meet in Las Vegas at Super Bowl LVIII airing February 11, 2024, on CBS. It’s the biggest sports event of the year and with Usher performing at halftime, commercials from the biggest brands, and two top teams facing off, Super Bowl 2024 is sure to entertain all night long.
