YouTube TV is shaking up the streaming world with the launch of its new feature, Multiview. Designed with sports fans in mind, this feature enables viewers to watch up to four live streams simultaneously, allowing them to stay up to date on all their favorite teams at once. Whether you’re an avid sports enthusiast or just looking for a more immersive viewing experience, Multiview is an excellent addition to your streaming toolkit.

Launched in 2017, YouTube TV is a premium subscription service that offers over 100 national and international TV channels, an extensive collection of on-demand movies and shows, and much more. With unlimited cloud storage DVR, the option to share an account with up to six people, and the ability to stream on up to three different screens simultaneously, YouTube TV is an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive and customizable viewing experience.

While Multiview is ideal for sports fans, it may not be the best option for watching movies or TV shows, but its capabilities make it an attractive feature for anyone looking to get more out of their streaming service. Additionally, the feature is available on a range of other streaming services, including Fubo TV, making it more accessible to a broader audience.

How to use YouTube TV’s Multiview feature to watch four live streams simultaneously

To start using Multiview on YouTube TV, users have three options. They can select the Multiview stream option from the “Top Picks for You” section on the Home tab, open a live game from the Home tab and then select “Watch in Multiview,” or select “Watch in Multiview” after opening a live game from the “Live” tab. Users can switch between audio sources and captions by using the direction pad on their remote to highlight a particular channel, and the audio will automatically switch to that stream. Additionally, users can select any one channel to go full screen by using the direction pad and pressing the “Select” button on their remote.

While Multiview is an exciting and innovative feature, there are a few things to keep in mind before diving in. As of March 2023, Multiview is only available on the YouTube TV app for smart TVs and streaming media players, and it may take several months for it to become available to all users. It’s also worth noting that some devices may not support the feature, so be sure to check your device’s compatibility before trying to use Multiview.
