Google has brought back its 128GB Pixel Tablet as part of its strategy to expand its Pixel lineup. The tablet is now available at a reduced price of $399, which is $100 less than its initial launch price last summer. This move coincides with the launch of a budget-friendly addition to the Pixel 8a.
Why?
The Pixel Tablet retains its core features, including the powerful Tensor G2 processor, 8GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Notably, the standout change lies in the pricing strategy, where Google now offers the tablet without its magnetic Charging Speaker Dock to achieve the attractive $399 price tag.
While the Pixel Tablet itself remains unchanged from its previous iteration, the omission of the Charging Speaker Dock allows Google to offer a more affordable option to consumers. Those interested in the dock can still purchase it separately for $129 in hazel and porcelain color options that complement the tablet’s design.

Customers can now pre-order the Pixel Tablet at the reduced price of $399 through major retailers such as Amazon, Google Store, and Best Buy. This move not only makes the Pixel Tablet more accessible to a wider audience but also provides flexibility for users to customize their experience by opting for the optional magnetic dock at an additional cost.
