Looks like Google got tired of waiting for the internet to leak everything! Just hours after showing off the regular Pixel 9 Pro, they surprised everyone with a quick teaser for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Let’s face it, leaks are pretty much a right of passage for new phones these days, and Pixels are no exception. Specs and blurry pictures of upcoming devices fly around online like crazy before they’re even announced.
This time, Google decided to flip the script. Their short teaser video – which hints at some cool stuff with Google’s AI thingy called Gemini – gives us a good look at what the Pixel 9 Pro Fold actually looks like. We’re talking double-decker camera lenses on the back, the unfolded phone all stretched out, and even a glimpse of the hinge.
Now, the teaser doesn’t spill all the beans. Folks who want the nitty-gritty on upgrades from the last Fold or the full tech specs will probably have to wait until Google’s big hardware event on August 13th. That’s also when they’re expected to show off the regular Pixel 9 Pro, the next Pixel Watch, and who knows what else.
Can’t wait that long? Google’s got your back (sort of). They’ve added the Pixel 9 Pro Fold to their online store so you can sign up for updates on the whole Pixel 9 fam.
