Facebook Messenger (FB Messenger) is a messaging service with over 900 million users and a dedicated website, Messenger.com. It offers features like video messaging and stickers and allows peer-to-peer payments. A separate Messenger app was introduced, causing some user dissatisfaction, and a “Messenger Business” platform enables interactions with businesses. Messenger also offers a desktop service and, as of late 2023, end-to-end encryption for messages and calls.
