Marvel has released an official teaser for the upcoming Marvel Studios film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ which will be released in theatres in the United States on May 6, 2021.

If you’ve seen ‘Spider-Man: Now Way Home’ you’ve probably seen the end credits scene. We saw well-known Marvel characters in the teaser for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ including Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen), and Wong (played by Benedict Wong).

Doctor Strange ignores Wong’s advice in the teaser “Don’t cast that spell. It’s too dangerous.” Strange realizes they “tampered with the stability of spacetime.” Mordo’s voice (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor) threatens, “Your desecration of reality will not go unpunished,” as Strange steps out into what appears to be the Mirror Dimension.

Strange begs, “But I never meant for any of this to happen,” as fans view glimpses of an abandoned Sanctum Sanctorum, mayhem in the streets, Christine Palmer’s (Rachel McAdams) wedding to someone other than Strange, Wanda Maximoff’s glowing hands, and a beaten Wong.

Strange visits Wanda at her new home in a remote area. Wanda exclaims, “I made mistakes, and people were hurt,” oblivious to the fact that Strange is not present to address the events in Westview, as seen in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision. He requires her assistance with the Multiverse.

Mordo reminds Strange, “The greatest threat to our universe is you,” just as Strange comes face to face, well, with his face, who smugly states, “Things just got out of hand.”
