The ever-expanding world of streaming services just got a bit more manageable, at least for Comcast customers. Buckle up, cord-cutters and cable subscribers alike, because a new contender has entered the streaming bundle ring.

Comcast is shaking things up with the launch of “StreamSaver,” a $15 per month package that bundles three popular streaming services: Netflix, Peacock, and Apple TV+. This offering, available starting May 29th to Xfinity Internet and TV subscribers, promises to simplify your streaming life and save you a few bucks in the process.

Here’s the breakdown: for $15 a month, StreamSaver gives you access to:

  • Netflix’s ad-supported plan — This means you’ll get the vast library of Netflix content, but with commercials sprinkled throughout.
  • Peacock Premium (ad-supported) — Peacock boasts a mix of live and on-demand content, including originals, classics, and news. This tier also comes with commercials.
  • Apple TV Plus — Unlike the other two services, Apple TV+ remains ad-free, offering a curated selection of critically acclaimed shows and movies.

According to Variety, rumors of this bundle swirled last week, and now it’s finally official. The combined price point offers a saving of roughly $8 compared to subscribing to each service individually.

Comcast is also integrating StreamSaver with its existing $20 per month Now TV service. Now TV offers over 40 live TV channels and already includes Peacock Premium. If you’re a Now TV subscriber who wants the additional Netflix and Apple TV+ options, you can snag the entire package for a combined $30 per month starting on launch day.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen streaming giants join forces. Back in December, Verizon launched a $10 per month bundle with Netflix and HBO Max (ad-supported). And the competition doesn’t stop there. Disney Plus, Hulu, and HBO Max are also teaming up to create their own (yet-to-be-priced) bundle, cutting out the middleman like Comcast and Verizon.

With streaming service prices on an upward climb, bundles like StreamSaver could become the key to keeping subscribers on board. By offering a curated selection of services at a discounted price, Comcast is hoping to provide a more streamlined and cost-effective way to stream your favorite shows and movies. So, whether you’re a die-hard Netflix fan or an Apple TV+ aficionado, StreamSaver might just be the bundle you’ve been waiting for.
