watchOS

watchOS is Apple’s operating system for Apple Watch. Updates, such as watchOS 2.2, offer security improvements and new features like enhanced maps and increased heart rate measurement frequency. watchOS 11 will introduce a new “Vitals” app displaying health metrics and a “Translate” feature, but will discontinue support for Apple Watch Series 4, 5, and the first-generation Apple Watch SE. Additionally, the Siri watch face will be removed.
