Blink Moments feature should make it easier to see relevant clips at a glance.

Blink, the popular brand of affordable smart camera systems owned by Amazon, is offering a new way for users to manage footage from their multiple cameras. This comes on the heels of the recent release of their Blink Mini 2 indoor/outdoor camera.

Blink Moments is a new software feature that automatically combines clips captured across different Blink cameras into a single, streamlined video. This is a big deal for users who have multiple Blink cameras set up around their home, as it can be time-consuming to sort through individual clips from each camera.

Blink says the average user has about three Blink cameras in their home, and Blink Moments aims to simplify how you view footage from all of them. Whether it’s a family gathering, a delivery arriving, or just your pet’s antics, Moments will stitch together relevant clips from all your cameras into one chronological video. This eliminates the need to manually scroll through separate clips from each camera to piece together the whole story.

Blink says Moments seamlessly integrates with any new Blink camera you add to your system, and it works with all current and past generations of their battery-powered and plug-in devices.

There’s a catch, however. Blink Moments is only available to users who subscribe to the Blink Plus plan, which costs $10 per month or $100 per year. The standard Blink Basic plan, which doesn’t include Moments, is only $3 per month or $30 per year. While Blink’s plans are generally affordable compared to some competitors, it’s still an additional cost to consider.

However, it’s worth noting that the Blink Plus Plan includes other valuable features besides Moments, such as person detection, live view recording, up to 60 days of cloud video storage, and motion detection recording. With these features included, the Blink Plus Plan may be a worthwhile investment for users who want to get the most out of their Blink cameras.

Blink Moments is an innovative and potentially very useful feature. It can save users a lot of time and effort when reviewing footage from multiple cameras. However, it’s important to remember that it’s only available with a paid subscription plan. While the Blink Plus offers other valuable features as well, it’s an additional cost to consider.
