Okay, so Apple finally let Maps out of its app cage. You can now use it on your computer! It’s still in beta, so don’t expect it to be perfect, but hey, it’s a start.
Basically, you can now get directions, find places to eat, shop, or explore, and even order food without opening your phone. It’s like Apple is finally getting with the times and realizing that not everyone wants to stare at their phone all day.
Of course, it’s only available in English for now, and you’ll need to use Safari, Chrome, or Edge. But don’t worry, Apple promises more languages and browsers soon. You can access web version of Apple Maps here: beta.maps.apple.com.
So, is this a game-changer? Maybe not yet. But it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Let’s see how this plays out.
