This morning I received an email from Apple and it was written that now Indian users can now use payment methods like UPI, RuPay cards, and Net Banking to make payments for their favorite apps and games, and other things like subscriptions including Apple’s premium subscription for Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud which all now part of the Apple One subscription, so Indian users can now easily pay for Apple One subscription effortlessly. Also, with these payment methods, Indian users can now add funds to their App Store via the above payment methods.

So how can you add these new payment methods to your Apple devices?

First, open the Settings app from your Apple device and select your Apple ID or your profile, then select Payment & Shipping from the options, here your device will ask for Touch ID or Face ID for security purposes. Now tap on Add Payment Method, here you will see new UPI, RuPay cards, and Net Banking payment methods along with regular Credit/Debit Card option. Just enter your preferred payment details and you’re now ready to make payment for any payment to your favorite apps or games, or subscriptions with these new payment methods.

These new payment methods will be helpful for those who don’t have International debit or credit cards.
