The never-ending quest for a good night’s sleep has a new ally in Anker’s latest Soundcore Sleep A20 true wireless earbuds. Announced on World Sleep Day, these discreet earbuds aim to help restless sleepers reclaim their slumber by muffling external disturbances and providing soothing soundscapes.

The Sleep A20 earbuds build upon Anker’s previous A10 model, now boasting an impressive 14-hour battery life in Sleep mode—a 40% increase over their predecessor. This extended runtime promises uninterrupted white noise playback throughout the night, creating a tranquil audio cocoon to drown out snoring partners, noisy neighbors, or the ambient din of city living.

But the Sleep A20 doesn’t rely solely on audio masking. Their standout feature is the proprietary “Twin-Seal” eartip design, which Anker claims can block out three times more noise than traditional silicone tips. By forming a snug seal within the ear canal, these eartips create a physical barrier against external sounds, further enhancing the earbuds’ noise-isolating capabilities.

For those who prefer to drift off to the gentle melodies of their favorite tunes, the Sleep A20 accommodates music streaming from smartphones, offering up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. This versatility ensures that users can customize their sleep environment to their personal preferences, whether they prefer the constancy of white noise or the soothing rhythms of a curated playlist.

Comfort is a paramount concern for any device intended for overnight wear, and the Sleep A20 has been carefully designed with this in mind. Their compact form factor allows for side-sleeping without discomfort, ensuring that even the most restless sleepers can enjoy an uninterrupted slumber.

But Anker’s innovations don’t stop at noise-blocking and battery life. The Sleep A20 also incorporates an intelligent alarm system that gently rouses the wearer without disturbing their partner. Additionally, the earbuds offer automatic sleep monitoring and position tracking, providing users with valuable insights into their sleep patterns and habits.

For those prone to misplacing their earbuds amidst the tangle of bedsheets, the Sleep A20s come equipped with a handy “find my earbuds” feature. The companion app can trigger an audible alert, helping users locate their lost buds and ensuring they’re never without their nocturnal sleep companions.

While the Sleep A20 won’t officially hit the market until May 20th, when they’ll retail for $149.99, early adopters can secure a discounted price of $89.99 by backing the product’s Kickstarter campaign, which launches on April 16th.
