The decision to incorporate autoplay previews arrives amid intense competition among streamers. For Max, the timing coincides with a broader overhaul of its interface and branding strategy: after experimenting with a simpler “Max” identity, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that the service will officially return to the HBO Max name later this summer.
