When it comes to cutting-edge design, OPPO has once again pushed the boundaries. The new Find N5 isn’t just another foldable phone—it’s the world’s thinnest book-style foldable, a marvel of engineering that redefines what we thought was possible.

At just 8.93mm thick when closed, the Find N5 shatters previous records held by last year’s Honor Magic V3. Open up the phone, and you’re met with a sleek 4.21mm profile at its thinnest point—so slim that even the USB-C port had to be customized to fit. It’s a design feat that makes the phone feel as light as a coffee cup, weighing in at just 229g, yet robust enough to stand up to everyday use.

OPPO hasn’t compromised on-screen real estate. The Find N5 sports a large 8.12-inch foldable inner display paired with a 6.62-inch cover screen, both boasting a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. Whether you’re streaming your favorite show or multitasking between apps, the visuals are stunningly sharp—plus, the crease has been engineered to be almost invisible in use.

Under the hood, the Find N5 is powered by the new 7-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This setup ensures smooth, efficient performance whether you’re gaming, editing documents, or switching between demanding apps. Meanwhile, the battery—a whopping 5,600mAh—supports both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, promising a full charge in about 50 minutes. It’s the performance that not only competes with, but in many cases outclasses, even the thickest flagships on the market.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Hasselblad-branded triple-camera setup, featuring 50MP main and telephoto lenses alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens. While some competitors have opted for higher-resolution ultrawide sensors, OPPO has focused on delivering natural, balanced images. On the AI front, ColorOS 15 integrates smart tools—from translation to call summarization—that elevate the user experience, blending everyday convenience with advanced functionality.

One of the more unexpected yet intriguing features is the ability to connect the Find N5 to a Mac. With OPPO’s O Plus Connect app, users can wirelessly share files or even control their Mac remotely—turning the foldable into a miniature laptop in a pinch. While not a full replacement for a desktop, it’s a handy tool for those moments when you need to bridge your digital worlds.

All these cutting-edge innovations come at a steep price tag. Launching in select markets across Europe and Asia at SGD 2,499 (~ USD 1,867), the Find N5 is positioned firmly in the enthusiast and luxury segments. Notably, there won’t be a US release—at least not under the OPPO brand—as sister brand OnePlus has already confirmed no foldable launch this year.

OPPO’s Find N5 is not just about being thin—it’s about pushing the envelope of what’s possible in mobile engineering. From its record-breaking slim design and impressive display technology to its powerhouse internals and smart AI features, it’s a statement piece for tech aficionados. But as with any high-end gadget, the price is steep, making it a luxury for those who demand the absolute best.
