Apple’s premium Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable is worth a look if you’re shopping for a high-speed connection for your Mac, external display, dock, or storage drive. The 1.8-meter (about 6-foot) cable is currently listed for around $115 on Amazon, offering a modest saving over its $129 regular price.

The braided black cable supports Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB 4 data transfers at up to 40Gbps. It also supports charging at up to 100W and DisplayPort video output, making it a versatile option for a desk setup with multiple high-performance peripherals.

At roughly $14 off, this isn’t a massive discount, but it does bring Apple’s premium cable below its regular price. The bigger question is whether you need its full capabilities: if you’re connecting a Thunderbolt dock, a high-speed SSD, or a compatible external display, it may be a sensible purchase. For ordinary phone charging or basic USB-C accessories, a less expensive cable is likely to offer better value.
