Amazon’s new Ember Artline TV is already getting a serious price cut, and this one is worth a look if you’ve been eyeing a Samsung The Frame-style television without wanting to spend quite as much.

The 55-inch Amazon Ember Artline 4K QLED Fire TV is currently down to $499.99, compared with its $899.99 list price. That works out to a $400 saving, or 44% off. The deal is available exclusively to Prime members.

More importantly, this isn’t just Amazon throwing a big percentage next to an ordinary TV. Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping price tracker currently shows $499.99 as the lowest price for the 55-inch model over the past 30 days, with prices reaching as high as $724.98 during that period. The tracker also shows this as the lowest price since January, making the current drop particularly notable.

The Ember Artline is Amazon’s 2026 answer to the growing art-TV category. It combines a 4K QLED display with a matte, anti-glare screen and a frame designed to make the television look more like wall art when you’re not watching something. Amazon says the Artline includes access to more than 2,000 free works of art, while also letting you display your own photos.

And unlike some art-focused TVs where the frame is essentially an optional extra, the Ember Artline comes with a selected frame in the box. Amazon’s setup documentation confirms that the TV includes the TV frame, Alexa Voice Remote Enhanced and wall-mount hardware.

The 55-inch model is the big deal here

At $499.99, the 55-inch Ember Artline is sitting at a price that makes the art-TV concept considerably easier to justify.

The TV uses a 4K QLED panel with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and HDR10+ Adaptive, along with a matte screen designed to reduce reflections. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and runs Fire TV OS.

There is one specification worth keeping in mind: this isn’t a high-refresh-rate gaming TV. Amazon lists the Ember Artline at 60Hz, so its appeal is much more about the combination of picture quality, design and the art-display experience than cutting-edge gaming performance.

The included wall mount is another part of the Artline’s design, although Amazon sells the TV legs separately if you don’t want to mount it.

There’s a 65-inch deal too

If 55 inches isn’t quite enough wall real estate, Amazon also has the 65-inch Ember Artline for $799.98, down from $1,099.99.

That’s a $300.01 saving, or roughly 27% off. The 65-inch version is also currently listed as an exclusive Prime price.

The 65-inch model has also seen substantial discounts since launch. Earlier this year, it reached $899.99, which was reported as its lowest-ever price at the time, before subsequent promotions pushed it lower. The current $799.98 price therefore isn’t simply a recycled launch discount — it’s another step down.

Is the Ember Artline worth $499?

At its regular $899.99 price, the Ember Artline is asking you to pay a premium for the combination of the matte display, included frame, artwork features and Amazon’s Fire TV ecosystem.

At $499.99, the equation changes considerably.

You’re still getting a 60Hz QLED television rather than a premium 120Hz Mini-LED or OLED set, so someone primarily shopping for movies, gaming performance or maximum picture quality has plenty of alternatives to consider. But if the whole point is getting a television that can actually look like a piece of wall art when you’re not watching TV, the Ember Artline’s hardware and included frame make more sense at this price.

Amazon also gives the Artline a fairly broad HDR feature set, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+, while the matte display should be particularly useful in rooms with annoying reflections.

And there’s something refreshingly straightforward about the art experience: Amazon says the Artline has more than 2,000 free works of art available, rather than requiring you to immediately sign up for a separate art subscription just to make the TV do its party trick.

The 55-inch at $499.99 is the standout price in this particular promotion, while the 65-inch at $799.98 gives shoppers a larger option without returning all the way to its $1,099.99 list price.

Just remember that Prime membership is required for these advertised prices, and the TV’s legs are sold separately if you don’t plan to use the included wall mount.
