Amazon is already putting some of its latest Ember TVs on sale ahead of Prime Big Deal Days, and the 55-inch Amazon Ember QLED is now $489.99 for Prime members — a $100 discount from its $589.99 list price.

The deal arrives just ahead of Amazon’s two-day Prime Big Deal Days event, which is scheduled for October 6-7, 2026. Amazon has confirmed that Prime members can access early deals before the main event, so this Ember discount is part of that broader early-sale push.

The 55-inch Ember QLED normally lists for $589.99, but Amazon is currently taking $100 off, bringing it down to $489.99. That’s roughly 17% off, and the discounted price shown on the listing is specifically for Prime members.

Amazon’s newer Ember QLED Series is the renamed version of the company’s Fire TV Omni QLED lineup. Amazon says the functionality remains the same following the name change.

The TV uses a 4K QLED panel with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG. It also has a 60Hz refresh rate, four HDMI ports — including one HDMI 2.1 port with eARC — plus Ethernet and USB connectivity. Fire TV OS handles the smart-TV experience, while hands-free Alexa support is built in.

The current deal is particularly interesting because the 55-inch model sits in a pretty useful middle ground: it is large enough for a living room without pushing into the four-figure territory of the larger models. At $489.99, you’re also getting QLED and Dolby Vision rather than stepping down to one of Amazon’s more basic Ember 4-Series TVs.

There is one important catch, though: the $489.99 price is a Prime-exclusive price. The product page currently shows the regular price as $589.99 for shoppers without the Prime deal.

And if 55 inches isn’t quite the size you’re after, Amazon is discounting the other Ember QLED sizes too. The current lineup spans four sizes:

The 50-inch model is therefore the entry point at $389.99, while the 65-inch version jumps to $709.99. The 75-inch model is currently $989.99, putting it just below the $1,000 mark.

It’s worth keeping the pricing in perspective, especially with Prime Big Deal Days so close. Amazon has not indicated that these exact prices will remain through the October 6-7 event, and the company says Prime Big Deal Days deals can be limited by availability. So these are early Prime deals rather than a guarantee of what the TVs will cost once the main sale begins.

There is also an additional offer shown on the 55-inch listing: Amazon says approved applicants for an Amazon Visa can get another $50 off, bringing the TV to $439.99. That’s a separate credit-card offer and shouldn’t be confused with the standard $489.99 Prime price.

For most shoppers, the important number right now is therefore $489.99 for the 55-inch Ember QLED. The $100 reduction isn’t simply a giant percentage-off headline attached to an inflated reference price — it brings Amazon’s current QLED model below $500 while retaining 4K resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Fire TV and hands-free Alexa. Whether it gets even cheaper during Prime Big Deal Days is the interesting question.
