Apple Watch Ultra 4 has barely had time to settle into stores, and Amazon is already offering its first discount on select configurations. The newly launched rugged smartwatch is currently available for $779.99, down from Apple’s $799 starting price in the U.S., representing a $19 saving.

The deal is available on at least two Black Titanium configurations, including the Black Titanium Case with Burgundy Trail Loop (M/L) and the Black Titanium Case with Burgundy Alpine Loop (L). Both are currently listed at $779.99 on Amazon.

A $19 discount just days after launch

Apple officially launched the Apple Watch Ultra 4 on September 18, following its September 9 announcement. The new Ultra starts at $799 in the U.S., making Amazon’s current $779.99 price a $19, or roughly 2.4%, discount from Apple’s starting price.

While $19 isn’t a huge reduction, the timing makes the offer notable. This isn’t a markdown on an aging Apple Watch model: the Ultra 4 is Apple’s latest high-end smartwatch and only reached customers a few days ago.

What you get with Apple Watch Ultra 4

The Ultra 4 introduces Apple’s new Health Sensing System alongside the S11 chip, with higher-frequency heart-rate and heart-rate-variability measurements and a new readiness score. Apple says the new system provides its most accurate heart-rate sensing in a wearable.

Battery life has also received an upgrade. Apple says the Ultra 4 can provide up to 50 hours of everyday battery life, while outdoor workout tracking can run for up to 45 hours. It also supports faster charging compared with the previous generation.

The Ultra 4 retains its rugged titanium construction and is available in Natural Titanium and Black Titanium. The new band lineup includes Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, and translucent Ocean Band options, with Burgundy available for both the Trail and Alpine Loop.

The watch also brings Apple Intelligence-powered Siri AI to the wrist through watchOS 27, while additional Audio Intelligence features are scheduled to arrive later.

Is the $779.99 price worth considering?

At $779.99, you’re essentially getting the newest Apple Watch Ultra for $19 below its official U.S. starting price. That’s not a dramatic discount, so shoppers shouldn’t confuse this with one of the substantial price cuts that tend to appear later in a product’s lifecycle.
