Who is Pressable?
Pressable is a managed WordPress hosting provider run and hosted by the Automattic company, the same people behind WordPress.com, Jetpack, WooCommerce, and WordPress VIP. Their entire infrastructure is built upon the same servers that host WordPress.com and all of its sites. If you’re looking for managed WordPress hosting, Pressable hosting might be the solution.
The fee of Pressable hosting is comparable to that of other managed WordPress hosting solutions like Flywheel. Another detail to note is that, regardless of your subscription package, the bandwidth with Pressable remains unlimited. At the lower levels, the storage capacity is also often considerable. Some of their competitors are up to four times their size.

This is noteworthy since even a site with fewer than 30k monthly visitors (Pressable’s Personal plan) may demand big file transfers such as movies, streaming, podcasts, and other multimedia files. Instead of being limited to 5GB of storage and 20GB of bandwidth, you can store and transfer larger files without relying on a third-party provider. This is important for individuals who require completely protected media and servers. The potential to provide limitless bandwidth is a significant advantage of Pressable over competitors.
Besides that, GadgetBond.com readers will receive a discount on Pressable’s managed WordPress hosting plans, as well as an additional 2 free months when signing up for one of Pressable’s yearly plans. If you need an additional discount on monthly plans, see our previous article for Pressable hosting, where we discussed the discount that we publishes last month. To get started with Pressable’s yearly plans, follow these steps:
1. To get started, simply go to the Pressable.com website and choose your favorite plan. Here, I’m going with Pressable’s Managed WordPress Hosting with Entry Plan for a year, which costs me approximately $15.83/month and includes 2 free months with yearly plans only. After you’ve picked your favorite plan, you’ll be redirected to the checkout page.

2. On the checkout page, enter your personal information, as well as your billing and payment details. After that, simply click the COMPLETE ORDER button to complete your order, and you’re ready to start building your website or E-Commerce store, or you can hire someone from Fiverr to help you create your website, E-Commerce store, or whatever you want. Otherwise, let our sister website support you in building a blog for free.

Pressable Managed Hosting Features
Pressable Managed Hosting offers excellent features. Their server redundancy is by far and far from the most important feature. They can’t afford to have that much of the internet go down because their server farm hosts all of the WordPress.com sites (Don’t get confused between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, want to know the difference between them read the complete detail here). As a result, they provide a multiserver environment, which ensures that if your site’s server fails, another instance is immediately available.

They do, however, use this to avoid many of the issues that may occur with shared hosting services. This means you won’t be damaged if another Pressable user introduces malware to their site. It won’t harm yours in any way. Pressable also guarantees 99.999% uptime. For obvious reasons, no one can say 100%.

Pressable also provides free HTTPS (SSL) encryption for your sites, staging sites, daily backups, automated core updates for WordPress, caching, server optimizations, malware eradication, and more services all at no additional cost. Daily backups are a key benefit of the platform in my opinion.

Pressable recently partnered with Titan, a professional email service provider, to provide all new users with a 90-day free trial of their professional email. You can add Professional Email from the control panel once you’ve added a website to Pressable, starting at just $3.50/month.
Pressable CDN is worth noting here. All sites are handled through Pressable’s own content delivery network (CDN). Last but not least, there’s the matter of features. Built-in caching is available with Pressable hosting. Under the Settings page for each site on your account, you may access the controls and purge. Because of the particular setups between the managed cache and the CDN, caching plugins are often not allowed on managed servers like this one.

Dashboard Features
The Pressable hosting dashboard is clean and easy to use. When you log in, you have the option of creating a new site or migrating an existing site from another account. If you’re transferring your website from another hosting provider to Pressable, you’ll need to use the Pressable migration plugin, which will guide you with step-by-step instructions. However, their migration plugin is simple to use, but if you need assistance, contact the Pressable support team. If you’re unsure about migration, their expert team will do it for you for free.

If you need assistance at any moment, a customer support representative is just a click away in the lower-right corner.
Site Settings
You can add a new site by clicking on the plus sign button in the upper right-hand corner. From there, follow the instructions to set up your new Pressable site. Once you’ve done that, your site will begin to launch, and you’ll receive an email when it’s finished. This email will include instructions for logging into your newly made website.

By selecting an existing site, you will be taken to the control panel for that specific installation. The controls and information for the site are split up into multiple tabs: Overview, DNS & Domains, Stats, Performance, Users, and Backups.
Overview
The Overview tab provides you with general site information. You can modify the PHP version, WordPress version, and site display name from here. You can also change your wp-admin user’s password. You can also switch between “staging” and “live” mode on the site.

DNS & Domains
From this tab, you can get the necessary DNS information to point your domain name to Pressable. Once it has been pointed, it can be added to the site in the “Domains” section.

Stats
The Stats give you an overview of the site’s unique visits and disk space usage.

Performance
From the Performance tab, you can enable/disable the CDN, purge and flush the CDN and object caches, and manage your Jetpack subscription.

Users
The Users section will allow you to manage the site’s collaborators and SFTP access.

Backups
Pressable takes automatic Backups of your site. The file system is backed up once daily at 00:00 UTC. The database is backed up hourly. You can access and download these backups from the “Backups” tab.

Collaborators
Pressable makes it simple to work on your website with others. This allows you to easily share credentials with designers, developers, and other collaborators while still keeping your account and other sites secure. They will have site-specific access to MyPressable, the site’s wp-admin, SFTP, and phpMyAdmin if they have collaborator access.
Add a Collaborator
To add a collaborator to your project login to MyPressable, click the name of the site you wish to add the collaborator to and navigate to the Users tab where you will see the Collaborators & SFTP section. Enter the collaborator’s email address and click Add.

Collaborator Access
Collaborators only have access to the website they have been added to, and can only view/edit limited aspects of the site.
Usage
While you’ll be familiar with analytics from Google and other sources, Pressable hosting also provides a summary of your plan. To see the stats, go to the left menu tab and click Usage. Total Views, Total Unique Views, and Daily Average Storage Used are among the stats. Unlike Google Analytics, you don’t get extensive overviews of every last detail. However, Pressable provides you with a summary of all of the sites associated with your account. That way, you’ll be able to know which ones require immediate attention.
Billing
Updating your billing information could not be easier, it is as easy as logging into your my.pressable.com control panel. After doing so, click on the Billing section in the left-hand menu.

On the Billing page, you’ll find a summary of your billing history, as well as a list of the payment methods you’ve provided. You can add new payment information to be used in the future from there.

Verdict
Pressable Managed WordPress Hosting is one of the most solid platforms out there. Given that it’s supported by Automattic and runs on the same infrastructure as WordPress.com, this isn’t surprising. With free CDN access, incredible uptime, and large support infrastructure, Pressable is a top competition in the WordPress hosting industry.
