Apple TV+ is a subscription streaming service owned and operated by Apple Inc. in the United States. Apple Originals, which debuted on November 1, 2019, is a collection of original production films and television series. Origin Story

According to reports from October 2016, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that television is "of intense interest to me and other people here." He went on to say that Apple has "started focusing on some original content," he said, calling it "a great opportunity for us both from a creation and ownership point of view. So it's an area we're focused on."
